This year, WCDSB is commemorating our 50-year partnership between the school board and the Mount Mary Retreat Program.
Since the 1975-76 school year, all of the WCDSB Elementary schools have had the opportunity to send their grade 8 students to the retreat to discover things about themselves, their peer relationships, and as well, how God influences many facets of their lives.
Over the years, this prominent and memorable program has made significant impacts on the lives of these students. For this reason, the School Board is hosting an anniversary celebration/reunion on Sunday May 31, 2026 beginning at 1:00 pm. The event will begin with the celebration of Mass followed by congratulatory remarks and presentations. All guests can then join for refreshments and to have an opportunity to casually tour the newly renovated facility and enjoy a walk around the grounds.

Whether you can attend or not, we are welcoming financial support to host the event, funds being purely to cover the costs of gifts, food and set up for the afternoon. The Catholic Community Foundation will accept such donations via the DONATE NOW button above for which we will issue tax receipts for all donations in excess of $25.
